Purpose of Publication

The purpose of publishing Special Report: The International Library of Paranormal Psychology®’s Longitudinal Research Study: Neuropsychopharmacology: The Observable Neurological Effects of Drugs 2002 – 2015 A.D. (13 years) is to report the observable neurological effects of drug use, abuse, and addiction, recommend future diagnosis plans for treatment, and future research with a statistical analysis of neurological and neuropsychopharmacological parallels.

Supporting Information

Special Report: The International Library of Paranormal Psychology®’s Longitudinal Research Study: Neuropsychopharmacology: The Observable Neurological Effects of Drugs 2002 – 2015 A.D. (13 years) shows that chemical and some natural substances have negative effects on the neurological system which causes physiological, psychological, and psychiatric effects.

These effects, as reported in academic psychopharmacology and neuropsychopharmacology text books, impair physical movement, interfere with community involvement, reduces normal human interactions, and causes observable neurological damage.

The Purpose of the Research

Special Report: The International Library of Paranormal Psychology®’s Longitudinal Research Study: Neuropsychopharmacology: The Observable Neurological Effects of Drugs 2002 – 2015 A.D. (13 years) is published by TMSC Consulting Services and physically conducted and named by The International Library of Paranormal Psychology®, with the purpose of reporting the observed neurological damage of drug use, abuse, and addiction between 2002 – 2015 A.D.  (13 years).

Definition of Terms

  1. Drug Abuser: An individual that uses substances that alter the mental, physical, and/or physiological processes in excess
  2. Drug Addict: The individuals physical and/or physiological body processes are dependent upon a substance, wether chemical or natural.
  3. Drug Users: An individual that aquires street drugs as medical use (self-medicating behavior verses a legal Doctor medicating behavior). This is usually a taught behavior from the first need of medical care.
  4. Longitudinal Research Study: A survey of correlational research that involves repeated observation of the same variables ove long periods of time (a decade or more), through observations (observational study).
  5. Neuropsychopharmacology– an interdisciplinary science related topsychopharmacology (how drugs affect the mind) and fundamental neuroscience, is the study of the neural mechanisms that drugs act upon to influence behavior. It entails research of mechanisms of neuropathology, pharmacodynamics (drug action),psychiatric illness, and states of consciousness. These studies are instigated at the detailed level involving neurotransmission/receptor activity, bio-chemical processes, and neural circuitry. Neuropsychopharmacology supersedes psychopharmacology in the areas of “how” and “why”, and additionally addresses other issues of brain function. Accordingly, the clinical aspect of the field includes psychiatric (psychoactive) as well asneurologic (non-psychoactive) pharmacology-based treatmentshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuropsychopharmacology).
  6. PsychopharmacologyPsychopharmacology is the study of the effects that drugs have on people, specifically mood, sensation, thoughts and behavior.
